Prior Work Examples: We recommended, designed and implemented corporate governance at the executive level for a client to ensure more visible and informed quarterly planning across an organisation. This led to better cross department communication with more formal sign-off and far greater visibility at all levels on quarterly plans, service status, critical systems and future capacity.
One outcome was a known and appropriately reviewed benchmark against which various aspects of the business could measure progress. The process also identified new risks and increased awareness of existing risks across the organisation. Overall, it allowed more coherent planning for the future, taking into account the needs of each department and gaining vital perspectives from multiple angles spanning IT and the Business. This helped to kill off potential issues before they arose which could otherwise have impacted the operation.
At the very simple end of the scale, a recommendation to extend debug retention and formalise capture allowed for much quicker problem diagnosis on the majority of cases which resulted in shortened resolution times.
